"Lady in Red" ....not done yet, but almost.
Hello....I am an amature artist, self taught, trotting along in life trying to learn as much as I can about becoming a better artist. Art is my way of expressing myself whether it be through painting, drawing, sculpture, or writing poetry.

Ok, so some news...a month ago I became a grandmommy...i know, can you believe it? Me..a grandma at this age..haha. Well my 17 year old had 2 beautiful baby girls: Jada Marie and Jada Renee Hines.
My youngest, Torie, is in the white. Her team is a U14 team going against U16 players. She is the 2nd fastest on the team and the toughest especially for only being 5 foot tall.
See what I mean. The other night the weather was cold so I decided to have a fire in the fire pit so we could roast marshmallows. The kids really had a good time doing this. I took some really crazy pictures!
Let's all take the time to remember those who lost their lives and loved ones as well as those affected by this tragic event in anyway. Over 3000 people lost their lives 7 years ago. For those not affected, it is so easy to forget and move on, but for others the memory haunts them every single day and some are unable to 'move on' from it. I used a pallet knife to carve out the tree. Not sure at all what to title this...have any ideas??
Started classes again this semester and enrolled in two upper level Psych classes...dang man--i have not taken psych classes since 04 and now i am hurting. I am feeling quite dumb to info that I should 'know/remember/have learned' because some things are re-iterating certain concepts and theories. So I am stressed about the fact that I will have to work extra hard to get through these classes and get the previous class books to refer back to. Needless to say this will leave hardly any extra 'I gotta paint or draw to relieve my stress and frustration' time.
