Life's interupted journey

Wow, has it been quite a while since I have posted on here. For some reason my pictures are not showing up anymore...hmmm? This is a new piece I am working on. There is still a lot to do on it, but so far it is coming along quite nicely. I have had a hard time getting the desire to do anything creative since I lost my job. It put me into a depression because of how to handle everything. I am trying to regain some positive insight in order to keep going without losing my sanity with my house and car that I am about to lose. I won't let the economy take everything!!
I am not sure what to title this yet...When I am done something will come to me.

Ok, so some news...a month ago I became a grandmommy...i know, can you believe it? Me..a grandma at this age..haha. Well my 17 year old had 2 beautiful baby girls: Jada Marie and Jada Renee Hines.

Jada was 4lbs4oz and Jayla was 5lbs3oz. They are doing great now and growing perfectly. Iknow they will be more and more of a handful as they get older..but we must all just enjoy each moment because before we know it they will be grown.
Well that is all for now...will cont more later.

Soccer...soccer...soccer

My youngest, Torie, is in the white. Her team is a U14 team going against U16 players. She is the 2nd fastest on the team and the toughest especially for only being 5 foot tall.
See what I mean.
She is in a soft brace right now because she broke her Left growth plate in her wrist but because it is a soft bone the injury is far less painful and severe as a regular fracture.
He usually plays center mid position but they needed his great goalie skills!
My son Brandon played Goalie for my daughter's U19 team
My daughter Christine is #4 in the blue jersy and my son is the goalie. # 10 never made it to the goal!
Christine is rockin!

Firey fun

Roasting Marshmallows one by one
Laughing, loving, having fun.
Bringing in the season of fall
camping trips and hay rides for all.
Colors change and temperatures drop
but outdoor fun we will not stop.

The other night the weather was cold so I decided to have a fire in the fire pit so we could roast marshmallows. The kids really had a good time doing this. I took some really crazy pictures!

Let's all take the time to remember those who lost their lives and loved ones as well as those affected by this tragic event in anyway. Over 3000 people lost their lives 7 years ago. For those not affected, it is so easy to forget and move on, but for others the memory haunts them every single day and some are unable to 'move on' from it.

'Untitled' 8 1/2 X 11 Canvas board

I used a pallet knife to carve out the tree. Not sure at all what to title this...have any ideas??

Started classes again this semester and enrolled in two upper level Psych classes...dang man--i have not taken psych classes since 04 and now i am hurting. I am feeling quite dumb to info that I should 'know/remember/have learned' because some things are re-iterating certain concepts and theories. So I am stressed about the fact that I will have to work extra hard to get through these classes and get the previous class books to refer back to. Needless to say this will leave hardly any extra 'I gotta paint or draw to relieve my stress and frustration' time.

In a world of such extreme uncertainty

Being certain of who we are,

While having the strength and character to firmly stand by that

With unyielding conviction and honest dedication,

Will guide you on your true path
